We are not responsible for the actions of sellers or buyers before, during, and after the auction, neither are we responsible for typographical errors, misprints, loss of merchandise, or failure of computer equipment due to your visit to this auction site. Use of this site is at your own risk, and remember that each lot is presented 'As-Is'.
Bidding and Selling
As a bidder, you know that placing a bid is a binding contract between you and the seller, and the bid cannot be retracted unless it is due to the fault of the seller. Once you place a bid, and if you win, you will be obligated to buy that lot at the winning bid price plus the stated commission. Placing a bid on this auction site, winning, and then not paying is illegal in most states, and prosecution can result.

AntiquesYes.com is not responsible for late bids due to the slowness of individual computers, browsers, or modems. It is recommended that bidders initiate pledge bids to insure that their bids are entered at maximum speed.
All bids will be accepted in the order they are received. The auction software can process multiple bids by fractions of a second.
Although infrequent (and we hope never!), technology failures can occur. If that is the case, we reserve the right to withdraw items, change things as necessary, re-start an auction, end an auction, or exercise another option(s). We will do our best to inform our bidders about any situations that might arise.
As a seller, the item that you place up for bids must be real. Once a bid has been placed for your item, you are placing yourself in a binding contract with the potential buyer. Once the auction is over you are obligated to sell to the item to the high bidder. As a seller, you are not in any way to bid on your own items or arrange for other shill bidders to act on you behalf.

AntiquesYes.com auction software gathers personal information in order to expedite the bidding and the payment processes. Personal information is never shared, sold or rented without your permission. Personal information sent to a buyer or seller regarding a item bought or sold on the auction is not to be used for any purpose except for communications regarding the auction item.
We are against Spam and we respect the privacy of our users. We do not use "cookies" or any other method to gather information about you other than legitimate registration. We use your e-mail address for contacting buyers or sellers only. Any use of this private information by anyone else is strictly prohibited and we WILL take action.
Shipping
We reserve the right to ship via the best carrier of our choice. All items are insured and sent with a return receipt, a tracking number or confirmation of the shipment.
Warranty
AntiquesYes.com provides this website and its content without any warranty or condition and we are not liable for any damages resulting from any auction, or for any damage resulting from your visit to the website.
Return Policy
Every lot we auction is guaranteed to be as described. However, we sell antiques, which by definition are old, and therefore are always imperfect. If you are uncertain about a particular lot do not place a bid.
AntiquesYes.com sellers will normally mail winning lots to winning bidders within two to three days after the auction closes, assuming payment has been received. Buyers need to notify the auction seller immediately of any problems with their winning lots. Sellers will not accept returns unless proper arrangements have been made.
No returns will be accepted for any reason more than 10 days after receipt of the item by the winning bidder. Lots are eligible for return only for reasons of mis-labeling, mis-identification or major defects not included in the auction description.
Bidders are responsible for assessing the condition, quality, and value of each lot in the auction. If you have questions, you must contact the seller directly to gain more information. If in doubt, do not bid.
